چکیده

Low water use efficiency and soil salinization are two main factors limiting cotton production in southern Xinjiang. A field experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of brackish irrigation levels on growth, yield water–salt dynamics Xinjiang, so as provide a theoretical experimental basis for development utilization water. There were three levels: W1 (75 mm + 80%ETc), W2 (150 80%ETc) W3 (240 at seeding stage (S1), budding (S2) flowering (S3), with an amount 450 during spring CK (the local reference level) (10 treatments total). The salt used 3 g·L−1. Film-mulched drip experiments observe aboveground dry matter, yield, distribution, well other indicators. results showed that applications S3 can improve moisture distribution root zone. accumulation harvest W3S3 reduced by 39.5% 2.8% compared W3S1 W3S2, respectively. More frequent reduce soil’s total dissolved solids (TDS), avoid exceeding tolerance threshold 4.8 g kg−1 lead higher matter yields. obtained highest 5685 kg ha−1, which increased 39.59%, 7.85% 11.25% W3S1, W3S2 CK, amount, less (WUE), following order > S2 S1 various growth stages. lowest WUE 0.64 kg·m−3. Comprehensively considering retention suppression, efficiency, 240 stages, 80%ETc irrigation, is recommended sustainable

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...

Productivity and water use efficiency of sweet sorghum as affected by soil water deficit occurring at different vegetative growth stages

The growth and production of sweet sorghum [Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench] crops under semi-arid conditions in the Mediterranean environment of southern Italy are constrained by water stress. The effects of temporary water stress on growth and productivity of sweet sorghum were studied during three seasons at Rutigliano (Bari, Italy). The aim of this research was to evaluate the sensitivity of ph...

Productivity and economic efficiency of wheat in rotation with cotton

ABSTRACT- Crop rotation has many benefits for agro-ecosystems production. In order to evaluate two current rotation systems of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) production in Kamalabad region of Fasa, an experiment was conducted during 2015-2016 growing season. The rotation systems were fallow-wheat and cotton (Gossypium spp.)-wheat. Research plots were arranged as a randomized complete block design...

Measurement of Vertical Water Percolation Through Different Soil Textures of Paddy Field During Rice Growth Season

The water percolation loss beyond root zone in the soil is one of the important parameters to determine water requirement of rice plant. If the amount of water percolation rate into the soil is estimated more carefully, determination of water requirement will be evaluated better and designing for system of irrigation, drainage and related establishments will be more easily done.
